Don’t Judge!!!
Don’t Judge!!!
I learned something about myself earlier this week that made me take a step back and think. I was sorting through the ministry's friend's requests one morning and I found a couple of people's profile's that didn't look right to me. It had to do with the screen name one of them was calling himself and the other was about his lifestyle he seemed to be presenting to people. Before thinking, I declined the two friend requests. My first reaction to them was that other people on the ministry's friend's list would see those profiles and be offended and decide to leave the ministry. I felt the guilt as soon as I hit the decline button on the screen because something came to me just as I was doing it. I had just judged these two people! I can't stand it when people do that to me or anybody else. So, I'd like to apologize to those two people for two reasons. First of all, I shouldn't have judged them. Second of all, if those people weren't living a christian life, they needed to hear teachings about God more than anyone. I denied them a chance of that by declining their friend request. I'm ashamed of myself for doing that.
So if you're a friend of this ministry and click on a person's profile that you don't know, remember these scriptures before you judge.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye not be judged. 2 For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.
Matthew 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentence.
So, next time you look at another ministry friend, think before you speak or take action. It is not our place to judge this person, but God's. Also don't think less of our ministry for accepting everyone, because those that are living in sin need the word of God more than any of us.
