Sharing an Experience
Sharing an Experience
This was originally a message I sent to a couple of friends, but I decided to share it with everybody.
Hello my friend, you've probably read about the tour I've been a part of on the weekends, traveling with a group of ministers doing praise and worship events around the region we live in. We did one Saturday night in a small mountain town called Jefferson, NC. There were about 30 people there. We had 2 praise and worship singers, a Christian rock band, and one of the guys from our group gave his testimony and delivered a message. He even read some of Albert Einsiten's notes where Einstien (an admitted athiest) argued against an all powerful creator, but some of his own notes contradicted himself which is funny considering how intelligent he was supposed to be. Anyway, this was one of those occasions where you could truly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. Everyone had such a feeling of calm and peace in their hearts, it's was amazing! Also, about 20 of us kneeled down around this wonderful woman who was suffering from MS and prayed for God's healing touch on her. It was one of those life experiences that touches you and you never forget it. On the way home we stopped to help a guy change a flat tire and we ended up praying for him and his brother, who is about to be deployed to Iraq with the U.S. Army and we gave him a bible, right there on the side of the highway. You could tell that he wasn't walking with God and he was deeply touched by what we did for him. I could tell that we sowed a seed with that young man and God gave the increase. It was just an amazing night and I just wanted to share it with my friends.
