An Invitation

An Invitation An Invitation Hello my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I hope this message finds you blessed, healthy and happy in life. I just want to take a moment to extend an invitation to you. As you may have seen, New Disciples Ministry has been going for two years now. It started on June 11th, 2008. I've always called it an 'online' ministry since that's how it began, but it's actually more than that. Myself and other members of the ministry do spread the gospel of Christ out in the real world through speaking at special events, through music ministry, and mostly by living our lives as true Christians. Through the online ministry, we write blogs about our walk with God, post bible studies, our interpretations of scriptures, inspirationals, and scriptures that inspire us. We also post music, videos, and pictures that we find inspiring on our webpages. We use our website, Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter to do this. When someone becomes a member of our ministry they sometimes become a new 'chapter' of the ministry, like brother Jason who runs the Salisbury, NC chapter or brother Raymond who runs the Tennessee chapter. Running a chapter involves maintaining a Myspace or Facebook page under the name of New Disciples Ministry which you use to do as I've told you that we do in writing blogs and posting inspirational materials on the webpage you operate, some of which, I in turn post on our main pages and website since I operate those pages myself. Operating a chapter also involves getting together with your friends and family to study scripture and fellowship together from time to time in your home or at a local gathering place. Brother Jason and I sometimes meet at a restaurant on Saturday mornings to break bread and share some Word. If you are a fellow disciple of Christ and are interested in working with us in our ministry, please contact us at one of our webpages. We actually have some webpages on Myspace and Facebook already setup with a few hundred friends built up waiting for someone to come in, customize the page, and run with it. Believe me, I don't make make this offer lightly. This ministry has been a labor of love for me this past couple of years, but I know that in order for it to continue to grow and prosper, I must share it with more people. I would love to see chapters of New Disciples Ministry in every state and in other countries spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is my work for the Lord and I look forward to sharing it with you. Your brother in Christ, Pete. Pete 6-11-10
