Saints and Angels
Saints and Angels
Many people, especially young people think that because they have things in their life that aren't right they can't go to church. They think that because they've done something that they think is an unforgivable sin, that God dosen't want them. That's the biggest mistake that anyone can make. In fact, there's a scripture in the Bible that addresses this directly. It comes from the New Testament, the book of Matthew, Chapter 9, starting at verse 10 to verse 12.
10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat (dinner) in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11 And when the Pharissees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
In other words, Jesus is telling us that those that are free of sin don't need teaching and preaching, but those that are living with sin do. Since there aren't any mortal men that are totally free of sin, we all need the teaching, preaching and spiritual guidance of christianity. So, don't ever think that you can't be a christian. If you have a problem in your life, God wants to help you get past it. Start by asking God for forgiveness. Then you can begin your walk with God. None of us are pure as the driven snow. We're all saints with skeletons in the closet and angels with dented halos. None of us are perfect, but God can help us to get through anything.
