Psalm of Prayer

Psalm of Prayer My God, My Father in Heaven So often I come to you in need So often in times of sorrow I pour out to you all of my hurt and my loss And you give me your wisdom, your comfort And faith for a better tomorrow I send up to you all of my worries And I give to you the troubles of my mind When I feel like my world is falling apart When I humble myself and pray to you My troubles seem to fade away And a spirit of peace fills my heart When I'm down on my knees I cry out I tell you all of my pain and my fear To you my Lord, I pray and confess You listen to it all in spite of my faults You give me so much more than I deserve And time after time you continue to bless My Lord, My Shepherd I owe all to you You've restored me time after time And You have always provided all that I need My God, When I call on your name I feel your love and peace in my heart And from the troubles of this world I am freed My Lord you have always been there for me As my guide, my teacher, my healer And in countless other ways My God I owe everything to you I will forever give you thanks And I will send my prayers up to you always Pete 8-12-10
