Not what they appear
Not what they appear
I was having a conversation last night with ministry member Allen Christian as we were waitng for our families' take out orders at Zaxby's. I was telling him about how I had felt bad about turning down a couple of friend requests that I shouldn't have. I covered this subject in the blog titled " Don't Judge!". As our talk continued, we talked about how today's church is so quick to judge your outward appearance. They say they will welcome you in, then after you're there, they want to change you into them.
I told Allen it's kind of like this. A man could work in a filthy factory five days a week to support his wife and kids and have arms covered in tatoos, a mowhawk hairdo, and a nose ring and be judged as strange, an outcast, or even a monster. On the other hand, another man could be a business executive, drive a Mercedez, wear thousand dollar suits everyday, be clean cut, but be cheating on his wife with his secretary everyday on their lunch break and go home drunk to beat his wife!. Now who's the Monster?
Anyway, I'm just trying to say, don't judge a book by it's cover. Better yet, don't judge at all!
