New Ministry Pages As many of you have probably noticed, New Disciples Ministry now has 8 Myspace pages, along with a Facebook page and a Twitter page. It all started with an idea I had after me and Tonya went to see the movie 'Angels and Demons'. I was going to put clues in each of the ministry's pages leading our friends to the answer of some kind of mystery like one of Dan Brown's books. So, I set up the other ministry pages that I had been thinking of creating that would serve different purposes than the pages we already had. As you know, the main NDM profile is where I reach out and invite anyone who will answer to our friends list whether they're living a Christian life or not and believe me, seeing some of their statuses and moods, it's not always easy to deal with. The NDM Chapter2 page is for Christians to share their walk with God. The Hardcore Disciples page is for Christians who listen to heavy music, have tatooes and piercings, and are mistreated by many ministries. All of these pages have been going for quite a while now. Our new pages are the NDM Kids pages (pretty self-explanatory), 'The Way' which is a tribute page to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 'The Prayer Room' a page for friends to post their prayer requests on the comments section, 'The Order' a page paying tribute to all who have chosen to become a soldier of God and fight the good fight, and a page called 'New Diciples' which serves two purposes; one as a tribute to our ministry's beginnings and second as a directory linking together all of our ministry's other pages. Like I said, originally, I had planned to use all of our pages as kind of a Christian scavenger hunt, but the Lord had other plans. I've learned that when I get an idea in my head to do something for the ministry and I run into a brick wall while trying to put it together, that it must have been something my flesh wanted to do and not what God wanted me to do. As always, in time, the Lord revealed to me what the true purpose of all the ministry pages would be. They're for the new members of New Disciples Ministry to manage and use to spread the gospel in their own way. So, now I'm in the process of getting these pages going and building up their friends lists so I can invite Christians I've come to know and trust to take charge of them and keep our online ministry growing.
